Are you are thinking of holding an event? Then please consider Charlotte when deciding your good cause.

Fun ideas for things to do with family, friends or in the workplace

A sponsored activity such as a swim, bike ride, slim, silence, run, parachute jump, the list is never-ending and some not so fun!

• Casual dress or bad hair day at school or work
• Sports event such as rugby, football, tennis or golf day
• Coffee morning or fashion show
• Garden party, open garden day or craft sale
• Bring-and-buy, car boot or garage sale
• Car wash, Chores for cash or dog walking
• Table tennis, air hockey or snooker tournament
• Themed nights such as 70s, black and white or “when the boat went down”
• Musical event or murder mystery evening, Karaoke or junior disco
• Raffle or tombola
• Barn or line dance
• Teddy bears picnic
• Darts or quiz night
• Treasure hunt or scrabble night.
• Auction of promises.

When organising an event please make sure your event is safe and legal
And don’t forget the three W’s - Where, When and Why

Collection Boxes

We have large and small collection boxes available which can be placed for example in work places, pubs, shops or surgery’s.

Going Green

The Green Account now means trash handed in at environmental charity Groundwork's centre, located within Western Park, can be converted to cash. The Groundwork centre recycles plastic bottle tops, aluminium cans and foil, textiles, clothing, shoes, cardboard, paper and printer cartridges. Mark the bag to be recycled "Charlotte's Challenge" and account number 1993, then money will go towards to the appeal fund. For more information click here
